God Made Little Girls Of Three

God made the world with the tall pine trees,

Majestic mountains and restless seas.

Then he stopped, and said, "I need one more thing",

Someone to laugh and dance and sing.

To walk in the woods and gather flowers,

To communicate with nature, in the quiet hours.

So God made little girls,

With laughing eyes and bouncing curls.

With joyful hearts and wonderful smiles.

Enchanting ways and feminine styles.

And when He had completed the task He had begun,

He was proud of the wonderful job He had done.

They were not all perfect, only a few,

He created one and then came two.

With His last creation, He had made three,

Beautiful, Perfect little girls, to give to me.

It has been a wonder, to see how they have grown,

Today they are women, with children of their own.

Few words can explain, right from the start,

The feeling these little girls put in my heart.
