BLACK SPRINGS - Winnie BOBO, 92, of Black Springs died Saturday, Aug. 19,2000, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. She was a retiredpostmaster at Black Springs, owner of Bobo Grocery in Black Springs, asubstitute teacher at Caddo Valley Academy and a lifelong member of MountGillead Baptist Church in Black Springs. She was the widow of Oscar BOBO.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. today in Mount Gillead Baptist Church withburial at Mount Gillead Cemetery under the direction of Beasley-WoodFuneral Home of Mena.
She is survived by two daughters, Irene B. HAYES and Ilene B.SPURGEON, both of Black Springs; two sisters, Edna McBRAYER and JoyPEARSON, both of Longview, WA; three grandchildren, Tim SPURGEON of BlackSprings,
Buckston T. PLYLAND of St. Louis and Pamela S. MARSHALL of LOUISVILLE,KY.; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Denver and Dallas BOBO, Randy MEEKS, RogerHARBOUR, Jimmy COGBURN and David LYBRAND.
