Murray Vernon Looper Jr., 48, died Monday at a Las Vegas hospital.He was born Sept. 4, 1953, in California. An Air Force veteran, he was aminister and a resident of Golden Valley, Ariz. He is survived by hiswife, Lynda; and sons, Joshua, Jonathon and Jeremiah, all of GoldenValley and Murray III of Kent, Wash.; daughters, Shannon of Kent, andRachel, Rebekah and Sarah, all of Golden Valley; brothers, Bill ofPhoenix and Mike of Grass Valley, Calif.; sisters, Beth Gardner of LasVegas, Debra Richards of Yuma, Ariz., and Jeanne Petersen and CindyRiley, both of Bellingham, Wash.; and a grandchild. Visitation will befrom 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Monday at Garden Memorial FuneralHome. Burial will be at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Southern Nevada VeteransMemorial Cemetery.
