1. James Moses was born in 1790.
Family tradition has it that James Moses lived in a small box housealone
after his wife died. He owned quiet a few coins and one night, thievesbroke in
the house and knocked James unconscious, stole the coins and burned thehouse
down with James still in it. James is said to have been a Claymaker bytrade.
James married Isabella Bedwell daughter of Reuben Bedwell and Unknown.
