with a woman in south

in 1930-1932 time frame he met a woman in Marlin, Texas who lived inVelasco,

Millard had a good life in Velasco. Betty's family liked him and they all
treated him very well. There is no way to prove or get detailspertaining to
Millards two middle marriages. These things are just from my memory. Iwas
around 15-17 years old
at this time. May just be a figment of my imagination.Frank Black said Millard was a surveyor when he came to Texas. Hesurveyed the
University of Oklahoma land when the University was established. Hebecame an
M.D. through practice with other doctors and study of medical books and
publications (sort of
what we call on the job training now). It worked for him.Buried at "Ruth", near Ft. Hood - according to "Buster" Gough.
May have suggested the name for League City, Texas while living in SeaBrook.
1880 Census shows his occupation as School Teacher.
