31. Tilman C. Stinson (William , George , George ) was born on 26 Mar 1847 in Sunnybrook, Wayne County, Kentucky. He died on 9 Oct 1926 in Allardt, Fentress County, Tennessee. He was buried in Allardt Cem., Allardt, Tennessee.
Tilman Stinson was in the Federal Army-Civil War. Company D 13thRegiment
Kentucky Calvary. When he was trying to get a Pension they said thatthere was
a charge of "Desertion" against him and he ask if the charge could beremoved,
they answered back from Washington,D.C. and told him from the recordsthat were
on file it could not be removed. Tilman had stated that he went home tovisit
his sick father who died while he was there. Tilman became sick and wasunable
to return to the War until after the close of the War.
In 1889 he was living in Chenute, Pickett Co. TN. and ask if hecould be
examined by a board of surgeons near his home in Chenute or in Albany,Ky.as
the place they had ask him to go to was 100 miles away and he was in verybad
health and without any means to go there. on this report was hisdescription:
Age: 42 (in 1889)
Height: 5' 8"
Complexion: Dark
Hair: Dark
Eyes: Grey
Remarks: Had stiffness of the legs from lying on the damp ground near
Bucksville,Ky. and while he was home he also took Measels whichsettled in
his legs.
Wittnesses to this statement were D. W. Proctor of Albany,Ky. andJehu
Beaty of Albany, Ky.
In 1890 witnesses were William Tuggle and James Johnson.

I believe Emily P, Thompson might be the Paralee you might be searchingfor. She was a daughter of Robert & Louise Thompson. She was also asister of my grandermother Della thompson, Della was married to mygrandfather John Neal. John Neal died in 1913/14 and Della died in1914/15 They lived on Byrdstown Rd. in CLinton Co. if you have any otherinformation on this family please let me know. Jeanettee

As a STINSON researcher my interest in her was because shemarried Tillman STINSON as his second wife. Paralee is buried as EmilySTINSON, with her husband, in the Allardt Cemetery, Fentress Co., TN. Hermarker says she was born May 5, 1872 and died Feb. 9, 1951. Children ofParalee and Tillman STINSON were: Laura, Bryan T., Henry, Sam, Edgar J.,Alta Mae, Myrta Otha, and Lilly.~ ~ ~ A.
