Jane married Alexander Marrs son of John Marrs.

Alexander Marrs is thought to have been the son of Pulsohola FolsomMarrs, the daughter of Adam Folsom and a Choctaw woman whose name isunknown. The father of Alexander Marrs is thought to be John Marrs.
It is thought that Alexander came from Kentucky to Crawford County,Arkansas between 1828 and 1830 judging by the place of the birth of hischildren. They are listed in the 1830 census of Franklin County, Arkansas(then Crawford County) with four daughters under ten years of age and twosons under the age of five. They are in Washington County, Arkansascensus of 1850 and had five sons and a female, Elizabeth Marrs, born in1824 in the household.

John Shannon married Margaret Marrs, daughter of Hugh Marrs and alsosister of
Alexander Marrs who married John's sister, Jane Shannon. John and Margaret
moved to Cumberland Settlement where his signature appears on the original
"Articles of Agreement by Settlers of Cumberland" (see page 5 of"Pioneers of
Davidson County, Tenn.")

John married Margaret Marrs daughter of Hugh Marrs on 23 Sep 1779 in Fincastle, Montgomery County, Virginia.

Thomas J. Shannon of Logan County, was born Dec.18,1801, and is a son ofJohn
and Margaret (Marrs) Shannon, the former a native of Virginia, andimmigrated
to the state of Kentucky in 1787 and to Warren County, Kentucky in 1810.Thomas
J. lived in Warren County, Kentucky for sixty two (62) years, thenabandoned
the Shakers and moved to Auburn, where he lived for nine (9) years, and
in the meantime he married the daughter of Benjamin Woodward. Thomas was a
trader and a farmer and held public office. He returned to Warren County,
Kentucky in 1881, and again united with the Shakers. He was an active manand
held many offices of responsibility in the society. He is believed tohave gone
to Lamar County, Texas along with Jesse Shelton before returning to Warren
County, Kentucky. Re: Kentucky Genealogy & Biography Vol. II Pg. 207.
