The Friends of the Bertha Voyer Memorial Library is a volunteer organization formed to support the library through fund raising, promotion, and public relations. Dues are $8 for a family and $5 for an individual. Donations to the Friends are tax deductible, as the organization has non-profit 501 (c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service.
The Friends hold an annual meeting in January to install new officers. They sponsor a spring author luncheon and a fund-raising summer salad luncheon. A used book sale is held periodically in the Book Station behind the main library. They also sponsor a book cart of used books in the library. Books may be purchased for a donation to the library.
