The Fords Academy reunion is held on July 4th each year.  I've never had the opportunity to go until I moved back to Paris.  This is where the Taylor children (my mother, aunts and uncles) went to school.  It was also known as the Fords Academy Community.   Both places that my Granny and Grandaddy Taylor owned were in that community.   The first place was bought in May, 1907 just before my mother and her twin were born.  They bought it from his daddy, Robert Emmitt Taylor.   I don't know when they sold it and moved onto the road South of the school, but it was before Aunt Ruby died in 1940.  We all had a wonderful visit and although I didn't know everyone, most all knew my precious Mother and Dad.
