This is the fourth page of my growing collection of treasures.  Some are ones that I didn't know existed until recently, some I had never seen, others I have had and already considered a cherished keepsake and then some are new.  Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I have.

William Thomas Tallant and his children.  Taken about 1905 after Amanda, the mother died.

Seated:  Zettie, Oscar Floyd, William Thomas Tallant.
Back: Claude and William Earnest.

William Thomas Tallant was decended from Richard Tallant,
born 1768 in NC.   William Thomas was the gr-grandfather of Sandra Kay Tallant Moore below.

Sanda Tallant Moore, Duane E. Tallant & Rodney Glyn Tallant.
All three descend from this Richard born 1768.

William Thomas Tallant family about 1913-1914

Back row: Zettie M. Tallant, Oscar Floyd Tallant, Claud Tallant, Lillian Moore, Lee Moore
Front row: William Earnest Tallant, Minnie Alice Tallant, William Thomas Tallant, Ules W. Tallant, Mary Rogers Moore Tallant, Rosie Bell Tallant.

Mary was the second wife of William Thomas and the two Moore children were her children.  Mary and William Thomas shared three children, Ules, Minnie and Rosie.

My mother, Maudie Taylor Posey, is the first child on the third row on the left.  Her sister, Ruby Taylor Hodges, is the 6th child on the second row according to my Aunt Ruby Ford Taylor.  I'll learn more about these children from the Ford's Academy at the reunion later this year.  A wonderful treat to have this picture of my mother as a child.  The chalkboard says "Ford's Academy 1917".  If you can identify any of these school children, please let me know.  Here's another view with numbers on the children.  Let us know if we have incorrect information.
